Poker hands

Are you a novice poker player or do you need a little summary of the value of poker hands? You have arrived at the right place. This article discusses all the hands used at a poker table and their placement.

Don’t you remember which is stronger, three different or straightforward? After reading this article, the point is certainly clear.
Learning poker hands is not just about getting ready for casino poker tables or online casino poker tournaments.

The same poker hands are also used in online casino video poker and many other games. The order of the hands may vary slightly depending on the poker game in question, but the paytable always shows which hands you want to continue.

Poker hands and their descriptions in order of value

There are usually a few 9 or 10 poker hands, depending on the type of game. Nine hands is a more traditional table, which means there are no jokers in the game at all. With jokers, it is also possible to get five of the same in poker, which is that “extra” hand.

Some games also use other hands depending on the extra jackpots and the online casino of the cards used  . Below are the 10 poker hands in the most common rankings. Note that in poker, hand symbols are commonly used instead of picture cards. “A” means ace, “K” means king, “Q” means queen, and “J” means soldier. Ten of the number cards are marked with the letter T.

hai

While the term poker shark means a skilled poker player, it is not advisable to aim for a game, in  slot machines  it is not a “low” version of the game (the worst hand wins). In the case of poker hands, shark simply means that the player has no other poker hands. In this case, the highest card determines the hand.

Example: KJ 9 8 7 means that the player has a king shark

Equal

The second weakest poker hand is a pair, which of course means two identical cards. The better cards it is made of, the better pair. Higher pair when you always win lower. If the pairs are the same size, the winner of the “real” poker is determined by the “kicker,” the next largest card.

Example: KK 9 8 7 means that the player has a king pair

Two pairs

Two pairs is a hand that may already be strong in certain poker games. This is the case in Texas Hold’em, for example, if the table cards are somewhat weaker.

Example: KK 9 9 7 means that a player has two pairs, kings and nine

Three such or three

Three of these are already starting to be the kind of hand that usually works well in many game modes. If you play Texas Hold’em, a hand is usually called a set when it consists of a hidden pair, and trips when at least two cards are taken from the table.

Example: FAQ 8 7 means that the player has a king trio

Directly

In poker, a straight means that the player has five consecutive cards in his hand. You can usually win pretty good amounts at video poker, and it’s not a bad hand in other forms of play either.

Example: KQJT 9 means that the player has a straight

Color

The color means that all the cards in the hand are of the same suit. Thus, despite the name, it is not enough for the cards to be the same color (e.g., Heart and Square). When the countries of the cards need to be written briefly, the English abbreviations s (pade), d (iamond), c (lub) and h (eart) are used. In Finnish, then shovel, square, cross and heart in that order.

Example: See Js 9s 8s 7s means that the player has the color of the pot

Full hand

When you get a full house, you can usually ventilate a bit as the win starts to be sure even with a bigger ring. A full hand is, as the name suggests, a hand in which each card is used – in this case in the form of three + pairs.

Example: KK 9 9 9 means that the player has nine full kings

Four of a kind

Did you get four of the same cards without jokers? Fortunately, you are quite lucky. This hand hardly needs to be opened more closely.

Example: KKKK 7 means that the player has a royal quartet

Straight flush

In the straight hand, you should keep the other players with you for as long as possible… this hand is not very easy to win. As the name suggests, it is a combination of color and straight, where all the cards are consecutive and similar.

Example: Ks Qs Js Ts 9s means the player has a pot flush

Five of a Kind or Fives

Five of a Kind, or Fives, is used primarily in video poker games as well as table poker that uses at least one wildcard. The five of the same are usually placed on a value scale between the color line and the royal color line.

Example: The KKKK + wild symbol means that the player has royal suits

Royal color straight

The chances of getting this hand are so slim that you may not be able to access it for years, even if you play hard. A royal flush is a flush that starts with an ace and ends with a ten. Also note that some of the royal flushes above each other in the poker variants are: consist of a Heart royal flush (“heart rate”).
